The East Bay is home. Our flagship office has stood on Walnut Avenue in Fremont, in Alameda County, since 2008. From Oakland, Berkeley and San Leandro it is a straight run down I-880 to the Mowry Avenue exit, about 25 to 40 minutes. From Pleasanton, Dublin and Livermore it is I-680 over the Sunol Grade, roughly 20 to 30. From Walnut Creek, Concord and Pleasant Hill, I-680 south the whole way, about 40 to 55.
Richmond and El Cerrito sit between our two offices: I-80 to I-880 south reaches Fremont in about 45 to 60 minutes, or the Bay Bridge brings you to our San Francisco office on Geary Boulevard. The Center for Implant Dentistry has placed and restored implants since 2008, and implants are all it does. The same two owner doctors — Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta, a married team of ICOI Masters — plan, place and restore every case themselves. There is no fly-in surgeon and no hand-off to a restoring dentist across town, and the lab that mills your teeth is down the hall from the surgical suite.
Implant treatment is one of the largest health decisions most people make. In California a fixed full arch commonly runs $20,000–$35,000 per jaw, and a full-mouth case is two arches. Against a decision that size, an hour or two in the car matters far less than who plans the case, how often they do this work, and who stands behind it afterward.

Which office is closer for East Bay patients?
For almost all of the East Bay, our Fremont office at 3381 Walnut Ave. Hayward, Union City and Newark are 10 to 20 minutes away; Oakland, Berkeley and the Tri-Valley 20 to 40; central Contra Costa about 40 to 55. From Richmond and El Cerrito our San Francisco office can be the easier drive, and we will tell you which when you book.
Do East Bay patients have to go to San Francisco for surgery?
No. The Fremont office has its own surgical suites, IV sedation and in-house lab, and the same two owner doctors operate there. San Francisco is simply the other door, for patients it suits better.
Can I do everything in one trip from the East Bay?
Usually, yes, for the planning and often for the surgery. The consultation, 3D CBCT scan and written treatment plan happen in one appointment. Qualifying single- and multiple-implant cases receive surgery and permanent teeth in the same trip, and full-arch cases typically add a final-teeth visit within about 72 hours of surgery. Every required trip is mapped, in writing, before you commit.
