Two Stories, In Their Own Words

Filmed patients describing their own treatment here, followed by before-and-after cases from our gallery. Each is one person's experience; your options, timing and results depend on your own examination.

  • Dental Implant Patient

A year in dentures after losing their molars

They found the practice through their own research and reviews. Staff stayed after hours; teeth arrived in three to four days rather than the six months they had been quoted.

  • Full-Arch Dental Implant Patient

A boxer chose his own material

He wanted a soft give rather than something rigid, compared the options himself, and picked ceramic polymer over zirconia — custom-made rather than off the shelf.

PRACTICALLY NEIGHBORS ON THE 880

Hayward, We're Barely A Freeway Away.

Hayward and Fremont are close enough to be neighbors — from downtown or the Hayward Hills it's I-880 south to the Mowry Avenue exit, usually 15 to 25 minutes to our office. Short drive, big difference: this is an implant-only practice, not a general office that also does a few.

A patient laughing during a consultation with the clinical team
Every plan starts as a conversation, not a quote.

The Foothill corridor and Southland have plenty of dentists for cleanings and crowns. Implants are their own discipline, and when a case turns serious — a full arch, real bone loss, an implant that failed elsewhere — patients want owner-surgeons who handle it directly. Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta plan, place, and restore every case themselves.

Because it's a quick trip, a lot of Hayward patients do the free consultation and 3D CBCT scan first, then come back for treatment. If you qualify, the in-house lab mills final teeth in about a day for single implants — 72 hours for a full arch — so the second trip often ends with permanent teeth already in place.

Hayward keeps its range: B Street's old storefronts, the Japanese Gardens tucked off Crescent, the university lit up on the hill. Range is what an implant practice needs too — the same building here handles a single quiet incisor, a full-arch rebuild, and the rescue of an implant placed somewhere else, with IV sedation available for anyone who'd rather remember none of it. Book the free consultation and we’ll plan the logistics with you, mile by mile.

Rebuilding, Not Patching: The Hayward Cases

Hayward's searches are about rebuilding: full-mouth reconstruction, implant crowns, implant dentures, a sinus lift. Each is a different job, done under one roof fifteen minutes south.

Implant crowns and implant dentures

An implant crown is the tooth on a single implant, milled in our own lab and, for qualifying patients, fitted permanently in as little as 24 hours; the single tooth page covers it. An implant denture is a denture held by two or more implants so it stops moving; it is removable and costs less than a fixed arch, and the implant-supported dentures page sets the two honestly side by side.

Full-mouth reconstruction or a full arch

Reconstruction keeps and restores the teeth you have; a full arch replaces them on implants. The reconstruction page explains the first; All-on-4 and our All-on-8 Robust design explain the second. The free CBCT scan shows what is worth saving, and for qualifying full-arch patients the final custom-milled teeth follow surgery in about 72 hours.

Sinus lifts and grafts, in the same building

Hayward searches for sinus lift treatment in the East Bay reach this page because the lift, the graft and the implant happen here rather than across two referrals; the sinus lift and immediate implant page explains when both fit in one visit. For an upper jaw thinned by years of dentures, zygomatic implants are the usual route forward.

Full-Mouth Reconstruction, Implant Crowns And Implant Dentures For Hayward

The Hayward searches that reach this page are about rebuilding: full-mouth reconstruction for the East Bay, implant crowns, implant dentures, sinus lifts. Each is a different job, and this is how we do them, one freeway hop south.

Full-mouth reconstruction for Hayward and the East Bay

“Full-mouth reconstruction” covers two very different plans: saving and restoring the teeth you have, or replacing a whole arch on implants. The full-mouth reconstruction page walks through the first; the All-on-4 page and our All-on-8 Robust protocol cover the second. Which is right depends on what the free 3D CBCT scan shows about your remaining teeth and bone. On price, our All-on-4 arch is a fixed $14,999 with inclusions written out; a reconstruction that keeps teeth is quoted tooth by tooth, in writing, after the scan.

Implant crowns and implant dentures: the two Hayward searches we see most

An implant crown is the tooth that sits on a single implant; published California ranges put the implant with its crown at about $3,500–$7,500, and for qualifying patients the permanent crown is milled in our own lab in as little as 24 hours after placement. An implant denture is a full denture that clips onto two or more implants so it stops moving, usually a lower denture; it is removable, costs less than a fixed arch, and is the right answer for some jaws and some budgets. The implant-supported dentures page sets the two options side by side. Candidacy for same-day teeth is confirmed at the scan, because immediate loading depends on bone and stability.

Sinus lifts and bone grafts, in the same building

Hayward searches for sinus lift treatment in the East Bay land here because we do the graft and the implant under one roof rather than referring the surgery out. Published California ranges put a sinus lift at $1,500–$5,000 per side and a bone graft at $200–$3,500 per site; whether you need either is a question the free scan answers, and the sinus lift and immediate implant page explains when both can happen in one visit. Years of denture wear that have thinned the upper jaw are also where zygomatic implants come in, anchored in the cheekbone when grafting alone would not be enough.

Getting here from Hayward

From downtown, Southland and Fairway Park, I-880 south to the Mowry Avenue exit takes fifteen to twenty-five minutes in normal traffic; from the Hayward Hills and the Mission corridor, Mission Boulevard (CA-238) runs straight into Fremont in twenty to thirty. We are open Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Sunday by appointment, and sedation visits are scheduled so that nobody drives themselves home. Pricing for Hayward patients

The Cost Of A Rebuild, Line By Line

Ranges and the fixed fee

Published California ranges (September 2026): an implant with its crown about $3,500–$7,500, a sinus lift $1,500–$5,000 per side, a graft $200–$3,500 per site, a fixed arch $20,000–$35,000 per jaw, IV sedation $200–$800 a visit. Our All-on-4 arch is a fixed $14,999 with every inclusion written out; a reconstruction that keeps teeth is quoted tooth by tooth. The consultation and scan are free (a $499 value).

Seniors, insurance, payments

Many Hayward patients are in their sixties and seventies and ask whether it is too late; the implants for seniors page answers that, and the answer is usually no. PPO plans are verified in writing, HMO and Medi-Cal cannot be accepted for implants, and financing across four lenders is compared with a soft-check pre-qualification.

The Questions We HearMost Often From Hayward

How do Hayward patients usually make the trip?

One short hop south on I-880 — about twenty minutes from downtown, Southland, or the Hayward Hills side via Mission Boulevard. Close enough that many Hayward patients do the scan on one visit and collect permanent teeth on the next.

I'm in my seventies. Is that too old for implants?

No — there's no upper age limit. Health and healing decide candidacy, not birthdays, and a healthy 75-year-old is often a better candidate than an unwell 50-year-old. Implants also matter more later in life: fixed teeth restore the chewing power that keeps real nutrition on the table.

Which insurance do you take for Hayward patients?

All PPO dental plans — we verify benefits in writing and file the claims. We can't accept Medicaid, Medi-Cal, Medicare, or HMO plans for implant work, and we'd rather tell you that plainly up front than surprise you later; financing across four lenders covers many patients those plans leave out.

How fast can I go from consultation to new teeth?

The consultation, 3D scan, and written plan happen in a single visit. Qualifying single- and multiple-implant cases receive permanent teeth in as little as 24 hours, and full-arch patients typically get final custom-milled teeth about 72 hours after surgery — timelines your doctor confirms against your own anatomy, not a brochure.

I recently visited Center for Implant Dentistry after developing an infection around a crowned tooth. My regular dentist wasn't able to treat the problem and referred me to a specialist. A friend who had undergone a bone graft procedure there about a year ago recommended this facility, so I decided to schedule a free consultation. From the moment I arrived, I had a great experience. I met Neel, a very knowledgeable and friendly young gentleman who was easy to talk to. He explained the types of procedures they perform and how they specialize in dental implants and complex dental cases. After asking about my concerns, he quickly took some pictures using their advanced technology. Just a few minutes later, I met Dr. Jain. He took the time to discuss my dental problem and thoroughly explained the recommended treatment plan in a way that was simple and easy to understand. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood my options. Then came the biggest surprise! Dr. Jain asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment that same day. I was shocked because I had only come in for a consultation! Since I was already off work, I decided to take care of the problem right away. Dr. Jain extracted my infected tooth, cleaned out the infection, and placed the implant--all in the same visit! I never expected to have everything done that day, but I was grateful that they were able to address the problem so quickly. I also found the cost reasonable, considering the complexity of the procedure and how quickly they were able to take care of my situation. They accepted my dental insurance and FSA, which helped save me a significant amount of money. Neel provided a detailed treatment plan and explained the costs, including what my insurance would cover. I really appreciated the transparency and the time he took to help me understand the financial side of my treatment. Because it was getting late, they weren't able to finish my temporary crown that day, so I had to return the following day to have it completed. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received at Center for Implant Dentistry. From Neel's excellent communication and helpful guidance to Dr. Jain's thorough explanation and treatment, the entire experience was reassuring and efficient. Kudos to all their staff . Very friendly and professional . I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs specialized dental care or dental implants. They made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier than I expected!
