Getting off the Island always means a bridge or the Webster Tube — and from there it's a clean run down I-880 to our Fremont office, usually 25 to 35 minutes. For a full-arch rebuild or a single implant, that's one drive to a practice that does implants and nothing else, with Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta planning and placing every case themselves.
Park Street and Webster Street have their share of good general dentists, but implant surgery is a different animal. When the plan turns to a failed implant, real bone loss, or a full arch, patients from the Gold Coast and the East End want the surgeons who own the building, the free 3D CBCT scan, and the in-house zirconia lab all in one place — not a fly-in specialist they meet once.
That lab is the reason many qualifying single- and multiple-implant patients leave with final milled teeth in about 24 hours instead of walking around in temporaries for months. Full-arch cases typically finish in 72 hours. It's engineer Andy Jain running the CAD/CAM mill a few steps from the surgical chair.

From Bay Farm Island and the East End, the Bay Farm or Park Street bridge to I-880 south and the Mowry Avenue exit takes twenty-five to thirty-five minutes in normal traffic; from the West End and Alameda Point, the Webster Tube to 880 adds five. Every quote is itemized in writing after the free consultation and scan (a $499 value), financing can be pre-qualified with a soft credit check, and we are open until 7:30 PM on weekdays and 6:00 PM on Saturdays, with Sunday by appointment.

Insurance and payments

Someone you bring. Oral and IV sedation both require a driver home — that is a firm rule, not a preference, and the bridge doesn't change it. Local anesthesia alone needs no driver. Your doctor confirms which applies to your case at the free consultation, so you can arrange the ride before the day arrives.
An implant I had placed elsewhere aches. Will you look at it?
Yes, and honestly. Struggling implants placed at other offices are a regular part of our week. Bring the implant, bring the quote someone handed you to fix it, or bring nothing but the worry — the exam and scan are free, and if the original work is sound we will tell you that too.

I recently visited Center for Implant Dentistry after developing an infection around a crowned tooth. My regular dentist wasn't able to treat the problem and referred me to a specialist. A friend who had undergone a bone graft procedure there about a year ago recommended this facility, so I decided to schedule a free consultation. From the moment I arrived, I had a great experience. I met Neel, a very knowledgeable and friendly young gentleman who was easy to talk to. He explained the types of procedures they perform and how they specialize in dental implants and complex dental cases. After asking about my concerns, he quickly took some pictures using their advanced technology. Just a few minutes later, I met Dr. Jain. He took the time to discuss my dental problem and thoroughly explained the recommended treatment plan in a way that was simple and easy to understand. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood my options. Then came the biggest surprise! Dr. Jain asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment that same day. I was shocked because I had only come in for a consultation! Since I was already off work, I decided to take care of the problem right away. Dr. Jain extracted my infected tooth, cleaned out the infection, and placed the implant--all in the same visit! I never expected to have everything done that day, but I was grateful that they were able to address the problem so quickly. I also found the cost reasonable, considering the complexity of the procedure and how quickly they were able to take care of my situation. They accepted my dental insurance and FSA, which helped save me a significant amount of money. Neel provided a detailed treatment plan and explained the costs, including what my insurance would cover. I really appreciated the transparency and the time he took to help me understand the financial side of my treatment. Because it was getting late, they weren't able to finish my temporary crown that day, so I had to return the following day to have it completed.
