Terms of Use · Effective August 8, 2026
Welcome. This website is operated by Center for Implant Dentistry, the business name of Arpana Gupta, DDS and Sambhav Jain, DDS, Inc., a California dental corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site — though we would still be glad to talk with you by phone.
These terms govern the website only. The care you receive as a patient is governed by the agreements, consents, and notices you sign at the office, and by the health-information protections that apply to your records. How we handle information collected through this site is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms by reference.
Medical Emergencies — Call 911
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room now. Do not rely on this website, and do not wait for a reply to a form, email, or voicemail.
Website forms and email are not monitored around the clock. For an urgent dental problem during office hours, calling the office is always faster than any form on this site.
This Website Is Information, Not Medical Advice
Everything on this site — treatment pages, articles in the Implant Library, cost explanations, quizzes, estimators, and answers to common questions — is general educational information about implant dentistry. It is not dental or medical advice about you, because no website can examine your mouth.
Dentistry also moves: techniques, materials, and recommendations change, and a page that was accurate when written can become outdated. We review our content on a published schedule, but you should never make a treatment decision on the strength of a web page alone. Talk to a qualified dentist or physician about your own situation before acting on anything you read here.
Using This Site Does Not Make You Our Patient
Reading this site, using its tools, submitting a form, or exchanging messages with our team does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That relationship forms only when a dentist at our practice examines you in person and accepts you as a patient — which is also the only point at which anyone here can responsibly tell you what your mouth needs.
No Promised Outcomes
No dental treatment or result is guaranteed. Implant success depends on your health, your bone, your home care, and factors no dentist controls. Statements on this site about timelines, longevity, or success rates describe typical outcomes, not a promise about your case — the same disclosure that appears in the footer of every page.
Our care-for-life commitment covers our own workmanship and your continuing access to the doctors who treated you; its written terms are provided before treatment, and nothing on this website expands them.
Appointment Requests Are Requests
Submitting a consultation or appointment request through this site does not book an appointment. It asks our team to contact you; your appointment exists once a member of our staff confirms a date and time with you directly. If you have not heard from us, please assume nothing is scheduled and call the office.
Smile Preview
Smile Preview generates a computer-made illustration of how your smile could look. It is exactly that — an illustration for discussion, not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a depiction of the result you will receive. Your actual outcome depends on your anatomy, your treatment, and healing, and may differ from the simulation.
Before you upload a photo, the feature explains how the image is processed — including the outside AI providers involved and how long they may retain it — and asks for your consent. You may use Smile Preview only after giving that consent, and only with a photo of yourself that you have the right to use.
Smile Preview is intended for adults. You must be 18 or older to upload a photo; a parent or legal guardian may use the feature on behalf of a minor who is being considered for treatment.
Acceptable Use
You may use this site the way a patient or a curious reader would. You agree not to:
- Use the site or its forms for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates anyone else's rights.
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information through the consultation, callback, or patient-form tools, or upload a photo of someone without the right to do so.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the site's content or data, whether by bot, crawler, or otherwise, except for ordinary search-engine indexing.
- Probe, overload, or interfere with the site's operation or security, or attempt to access systems or data not intended for you.
- Use the content to train commercial products or republish it as your own (see the next section).
Our Content and Your License To Use It
Everything on this site — text, photographs, illustrations, video, page designs, and the tools themselves — belongs to Center for Implant Dentistry or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
You have a limited, personal, non-commercial license to view, print, and share pages for your own use — sending a treatment page to a family member is exactly what the site is for. What the license does not include: republishing our medical and educational content elsewhere, presenting it as your own, or using it commercially, without our written permission first. If you would like to reuse something, ask — we say yes more often than you might expect.
Links To Other Sites
This site links to third parties — maps, review platforms, financing partners, verification registries, professional bodies, and published research. Those sites are not ours: we do not control their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices, and a link is a courtesy, not an endorsement. When you follow one, that site's own terms and privacy policy take over.
Testimonials and Reviews
Patient testimonials and reviews on this site are the experiences of individual patients, in their own words. They are real, but they are one person's outcome — not a promise that your results will match, because results vary from patient to patient. We do not pay for reviews. Where a photograph shows a patient's result, the same caution applies: the same results may not occur for all patients.
The Website Is Provided As-Is
We work to keep this site accurate, current, and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that the site will always be online, error-free, or up to date, and we may change, suspend, or remove any part of it at any time.
To the extent California law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on the website itself — such as an outdated page, a typo, an interrupted form submission, or time the site spends offline. This limitation applies only to the website. It does not limit our responsibility for the dental care we actually provide, and nothing in these terms excuses fraud, willful misconduct, or violations of law — California law does not allow those to be waived, and we would not ask you to.
Electronic Communications
When you submit a form, email us, or otherwise contact us through the site, you are communicating with us electronically, and you consent to receive our replies the same way — by email, phone, or text, depending on what you provided and any messaging preferences you gave us. Ordinary email and web forms are not fully secure channels: please keep detailed health information for the phone or the office, and never use this site's forms for anything urgent.
Changes To These Terms
When we update these terms we will post the revised version here with a new effective date at the top of this page — we won't quietly move the ground under you. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
We may suspend or block access to the site for anyone who violates these terms — for example, scraping the content or abusing the forms. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive any termination. Blocking someone's website access has nothing to do with, and never affects, any patient's right to their records or to continuity of care.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the terms remain in full effect.
Governing Law and Venue
These terms, and any dispute about this website, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any such dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and both of us consent to that venue. These terms do not require arbitration and do not waive your right to bring claims in court.

These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement about your use of this website. Where these terms and applicable law differ, the law controls.
