Care for Life · Same Address Since 2008
A Warranty Is Only as Good As the People Who Have to Honor It
Read the fine print on a corporate chain's "lifetime warranty" and you'll notice something. It covers the part — the titanium post, sometimes the bridge — but it says almost nothing about the person. And the person who placed your implant may have flown in for the week, billed the case, and moved on. When a screw loosens two years later, the warranty is a phone number that routes you to whoever is local. That isn't a promise. It's a disclaimer.

Our version is smaller and much harder to fake. The two doctors who plan, place, and build your teeth — Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta — are the same two people who see you for your cleanings, your bite checks, your adjustments, and the 9 p.m. call when something feels off. Same doctors. Same building on the same street in Fremont. Since 2008. That continuity is the actual warranty; the paperwork just writes it down.
Below is exactly what we back, in plain language — and just as importantly, what we don't, because an honest guarantee tells you where your responsibility begins. An implant is a partnership. We engineer it to last; you keep it clean and let us look at it. Do both, and there is no reason it shouldn't outlast this conversation by decades.

What the Care-for-Life Promise Actually Backs — In Writing

What the Care-for-Life Promise
Start with the implant itself. A dental implant is a titanium post that fuses to your jawbone, and modern implants fuse successfully at rates commonly reported around 95%. In the rare case one doesn't integrate in the early months — the biology simply doesn't take — we remove it, let the site heal, and place a new one. You don't pay twice for our result. That's the floor, not the ceiling, of what care for life means.
Then there are the teeth on top. Because we run our own in-house CAD/CAM zirconia mill — with engineer Andy Jain machining every case — a chipped surface, a worn spot, or a bite that has drifted doesn't mean waiting three weeks on an outside lab. Your digital design is on file. We can re-mill or refine your teeth here, on the same equipment that made them. A screw loosens? We retighten it. The bite shifts as your face ages? We adjust it. That's maintenance, and it's part of the deal, not an upsell.
And then the part no card covers: access to the surgeons. For the life of your implant, the doctors who did the work are here for your hygiene visits, your annual checks, your worries, and your emergencies. We also routinely rescue failed implants placed at other offices — which tells you how we handle our own. If we'll take on someone else's hard case, we're certainly not going to leave you holding one of ours.

Where Our Job Ends
Where Our Job Ends And Yours Begins
Here's the honest half most warranties bury. An implant is engineered like a small structural project — Dr. Jain plans bite force, angles, and torque the way an engineer plans a load-bearing joint — but no engineering survives neglect. The implant lives in your mouth, and your mouth is your responsibility between visits. Skipped cleanings, uncontrolled gum disease, heavy unmanaged grinding, and tobacco are the things that undo good work, and no guarantee on earth can write around biology.
So the boundary is simple and fair. We back the implant, the restoration, and our workmanship. You keep it clean — brush, a water flosser under a full-arch bridge, and the professional cleanings we schedule. You come to your checkups so we catch a loose screw before it becomes a cracked tooth. You tell us if you clench, so we can protect your investment with a night guard. Do that, and the maintenance side of care for life is genuinely ours to carry.
What voids the honest version of a warranty isn't a technicality — it's disappearing. The patients who get thirty years out of an implant are the ones we actually see. So the most important thing you can do to protect your teeth is keep the relationship alive: show up, and follow the post-op instructions in the early weeks when fusion is happening. The rest, we've got — the care that comes after is simply included.
What's Covered, What Isn't, And Who Answers The Phone
Are dental implants guaranteed to last?
No honest dentist can promise any medical treatment lasts forever, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we can tell you is that modern implants fuse successfully at rates commonly reported around 95%, and with good home care and regular checkups they routinely last decades. What we guarantee is our workmanship and our presence: if an implant fails to integrate as our result, we replace it, and the doctors who placed it stay responsible for its care for life. The longevity is a partnership — we build it right, you keep it clean, and we watch it together.
What does your implant warranty actually cover?
Three things. First, integration — if an implant doesn't fuse in the early healing window as our result, we remove and replace it without charging you twice. Second, the restoration and our workmanship — because we mill zirconia in-house, we handle chips, wear, loosened screws, and bite adjustments here rather than shipping your case to an outside lab. Third, and most important, ongoing access: cleanings, checks, adjustments, and emergency help from Dr. Jain and Dr. Gupta for the life of the implant, at the same Fremont address since 2008.
What isn't covered — where does my responsibility start?
We back the implant, the teeth, and our work. You're responsible for what happens between visits: daily cleaning (including a water flosser under a full-arch bridge), managing gum disease, avoiding tobacco, and protecting the teeth from heavy grinding with a night guard if you clench. Neglect, uncontrolled gum disease, and skipped maintenance are the things that undo good implants, and no guarantee can write around biology. The fair boundary is simple — we handle the engineering and the upkeep at our chair; you handle the daily care and actually show up for checkups.
How is this different from a corporate chain's 'lifetime warranty'?
A chain's warranty usually covers a part and is honored by whoever happens to be available — often not the surgeon who placed your implant, because that surgeon may have been a visiting doctor who's long gone. Ours is honored by the two owner-doctors who did the original work, in the same building, year after year. That continuity is the difference: a card routes you to a stranger; our promise routes you back to the people who know your case, your bite, and your history. See why patients choose us for the full comparison.
What happens if a screw loosens or a tooth chips years later?
You call us, and we handle it — usually quickly, because everything is under one roof. A loosened screw is a retighten. A chip or a worn surface is a repair or a re-mill on the same in-house equipment that made your teeth, with your digital design already on file. Bite drift as your face ages is an adjustment. These are normal maintenance events over a lifetime of use, not failures, and they're part of care for life rather than surprise bills.
Can you honor a warranty on an implant placed at another office?
We can't warranty another surgeon's placement — we didn't plan it or do it. But we take on those cases all the time. Rescuing and repairing failed implants from other offices is one of the hard things we're known for, from re-restoring a workable implant to replacing one that never had a chance. Come in for a free consultation and 3D CBCT scan (a $499 value) and we'll tell you honestly what can be saved and what it takes to make it right.
