Get the bite height wrong by a couple of millimeters and the new teeth chip, the jaw joints ache, and the whole thing feels off in a way patients can never quite name. Dr. Sam Jain sits on both sides of that line. He is an ICOI Master implant surgeon and a mechanical engineer, and he treats your mouth like a structure: where the load lands, how it travels through each tooth, where a design will crack before it ever does. Every case starts with a free in-house 3D CBCT scan and a smile designed to your face — then the bite, the implant angles, and the bone support are worked out like a building before a single tooth is touched. We take the mouths other offices send away. No bone in the upper jaw gets zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone. Our engineer, Andy Jain, runs an on-site CAD/CAM mill that cuts your final teeth from ultra-dense, FDA-cleared zirconia on industrial CNC machines — while you rest, overnight. Single or multiple teeth in about a day; a full arch in about 72 hours. Not six to eight months of temporary plastic.
There is no one right pace for a full mouth, so we offer two. Same-week reconstruction rebuilds both arches in a tight, sedated sequence for patients who want it done and behind them. Phased reconstruction spreads the work over several stages — often when we're saving natural teeth, staging grafts, or simply matching the pace your body and your schedule prefer. A full reconstruction is long chair time, and we don't pretend otherwise — which is why IV sedation is standard for these cases, run by our own team, not a visiting anesthetist. What's the difference between full-mouth reconstruction and All-on-4 or All-on-8?
All-on-4 and All-on-8 Robust each rebuild a single arch — one upper or one lower jaw — on a fixed bridge supported by four or eight implants. Full-mouth reconstruction is broader: it addresses everything at once — both arches, the bite that connects them, natural teeth worth saving, failed old crowns and bridges, and the bone underneath — as one coordinated plan. A reconstruction may well include All-on-8 Robust for one or both arches, but it also solves the bite height, the joints, and the sequencing that a single-arch case doesn't have to.
Do I need to have all my teeth removed for a reconstruction?
Not necessarily. Dr. Arpana Gupta holds a master's degree in endodontics (MDS) and taught the subject before co-founding this practice, and part of planning a reconstruction is deciding honestly which natural teeth are worth keeping and which are past saving. Sound teeth in a good position can be restored with crowns and kept in the plan. Teeth that are cracked, deeply decayed, or loose come out and are replaced with implants. Your 3D scan and exam decide this — not a blanket policy.
How long does a full-mouth reconstruction take?
It depends on which pace fits your case. I was told I don't have enough bone. Can I still be rebuilt?
Very likely, yes. Limited bone is one of the main reasons offices turn full-mouth cases away, and it's one of the main reasons those patients end up here. Where the jaw is thin, we graft during implant placement. Where the upper jaw has almost no bone, we use zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone instead of the jaw.
