Step One: Design The Smile, Then Plan The Foundation

Your free consultation starts with an in-house 3D CBCT scan and a smile simulation designed to your face, age, and personality — you'll see your potential smile on screen before committing to anything.

Only after the smile is finalized do we plan the implants beneath it, the way an architect draws the building before laying foundations. Eight positions are mapped where your bone is strongest.

We're meticulous about measurements — we don't start until they're perfect. That discipline is what makes a 72-hour timeline safe.

Step Two: Two Unhurried Surgical Days

One full day for the upper jaw, one for the lower — with our IV sedation team keeping you comfortable while X-Guide™ and Navident EVO dynamic navigation track every movement against your CT scan in real time.

Each implant is placed with proper depth, angulation, spread, and torque, with bone grafting done wherever needed during placement. If an implant's torque is weak in soft bone, we upsize or reposition it on the spot.

You leave with fixed teeth secured the same visit — nothing removable, nothing resting on stitches.

While you rest, our on-site lab mills your final teeth from ultra-dense, FDA-cleared zirconia on industrial-grade CNC machines — under the direction of the engineer who helped plan your case.

In about 72 hours your final custom-milled teeth are installed on your implants, refined until bite, shade, and shape feel unmistakably yours. Then you get on with your life.

What does All-on-8 Robust mean?

All-on-8 Robust is the replacement of all teeth on eight dental implants that support them — a full-arch protocol developed here by Dr. Sam Jain, DMD, MS. The 'Robust' part is an engineering promise: the result has to be both mechanically robust (strong enough for real bite forces, with no weak points) and biologically robust (kind to your bone and gums for the long term). It grew out of years of refining traditional full-arch methods to overcome their anatomical limits and simplify lifelong maintenance.

How is All-on-8 Robust different from All-on-4?

All-on-4 supports an entire arch on four implants, which often requires long cantilevers — sections of bridge that hang beyond the last implant and act like levers on the screws every time you chew. With eight implants, the load is shared across twice as many anchors, the cantilevers disappear, and no single implant becomes a point of failure. Many offices charge more per implant; here your per-arch price is the same whether your plan uses four, six, or eight implants.

Am I a candidate for All-on-8 Robust?

Your bone decides, which is why your consultation includes a free in-house 3D CBCT scan. Most patients with failing teeth, deep decay, or loose dentures qualify — about 98% of the people we meet are candidates for some form of implant treatment. Where bone is limited, we graft at the time of placement, choose sites where bone is strongest, or use zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone. If eight implants aren't right for your anatomy, Dr. Jain will tell you exactly what is, and why.

How long does All-on-8 Robust treatment take?

About 72 hours from surgery to final custom-milled zirconia teeth. We dedicate one full surgical day to the upper jaw and one to the lower, so each implant is placed meticulously — proper depth, angulation, spread, grafting, and torque, never rushed. While you rest, our on-site CNC machines mill your final teeth overnight. You leave chewing on fixed, non-removable teeth — not wearing a temporary denture for six to eight months.

Is eight implants too many for one jaw?

No — it mirrors how nature designed you. A full arch of natural teeth is anchored by far more roots than four — molars carry two or three each — and eight well-positioned implants restore a generous share of that original support. The practical limits are bone volume and spacing, which is exactly what the 3D plan works out before surgery. What we avoid is the opposite problem: hanging a full arch of teeth, and decades of chewing, on the bare minimum of anchors.

What actually goes wrong with four implants that eight prevents?

Think of your bridge as a chair. On four implants, the chair stands on four legs — and because all four sit toward the front of the jaw, the back teeth hang in the air behind them, working like levers with every bite. If one leg ever fails, you're sitting on a three-legged chair and the whole system is in trouble. On eight legs, the seat is supported end to end, no teeth hang unsupported, and if a single implant ever struggled, the other seven carry the load while it's addressed. There's also a division of labor most consultations skip: the front implants power your incisors — the biting-into-an-apple teeth — while the back implants power the molars, where the real chewing happens. Getting implants into that back-jaw position is genuine work (often a sinus lift, building bone where there was almost none — our everyday specialty), which is a big part of why offices without that surgical capability offer the four-implant version instead.

Does having more implants do anything for the jawbone itself?

Yes — and this is the part of the engineering nobody sees. Jawbone stays alive the way muscle does: by being used. With All-on-8 we effectively divide the arch into eight segments and give each segment its own implant, so every region of bone receives chewing load — exercise — every time you eat. Loaded bone stays dense; bone with nothing anchored in it slowly resorbs, the way bare land erodes without tree roots holding it. Eight implants aren't just eight anchors for the teeth; they're eight roots keeping the whole landscape of your jaw alive. That's what 'mechanically and biologically robust' means in practice — the bridge is engineered to last, and the bone underneath is given a reason to stay.
