DELTA TOWN

Worth the drive off the delta

Rio Vista is a real delta town — the Sacramento River, the Helen Madere Memorial Bridge, Sandy Beach out past Main Street. It's also about an hour and twenty from our Geary Boulevard office, out CA-12 to I-80 and over the Bay Bridge. We won't pretend it's around the corner. But for full-arch implants done right, patients from here make the trip on purpose.

A patient checking in at the front desk
Same desk, same people, since 2008.

Here's why the distance is worth it. Two owner-surgeons, Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta, plan and perform every case, and the final teeth are milled in our own lab in about 72 hours for a full arch. So a Rio Vista patient can drive in, have surgery, and leave with a real set of teeth in the same short window — not fly back and forth for months of temporaries.

The Delta is a long way from any implant specialist, and the closest ones tend to refer the hard cases out anyway. If you've been told you lack the bone for implants, this is a zygomatic and bone-grafting practice — the cases other offices decline. The consult and 3D scan are free, which matters when you're already committing to the drive. Book the free consultation and we’ll plan the logistics with you, mile by mile.

The treatments, and which office each visit runs at.

Extractions, grafts, sinus lifts and zygomatic implants by the surgeons who place the implants; IV sedation with a companion.

One tooth

A single tooth implant, permanent in as little as 24 hours for qualifying patients.

From Rio Vista

Worth The Drive Off The Delta

Rio Vista's searches already sit on page one: dental implants in Rio Vista, dentures and oral surgery in Rio Vista. What the town asks is how an hour and twenty is workable, where the surgery happens, what to do for a parent who cannot eat in dentures, and about Medicare. Specialty care is already a drive from the Delta; this page is about making it one drive to one building.

A parent who wears dentures and cannot eat

Bring the parent and the denture to the free consultation and 3D scan at Geary. The scan shows whether two or more implants can hold the denture still, on the implant-supported dentures page, or whether a fixed arch, All-on-4 or our All-on-8 Robust design, is the better answer. Years in a denture thin the bone, which is why the scan comes first; the implants for seniors page covers the rest, and there is no age cutoff.

Where the surgery happens, and how the hour is workable

The consultation, scan and follow-ups run at the Geary Boulevard office; surgery runs there or at Fremont, where the lab that mills the teeth is. For qualifying patients the first fixed teeth go on the day of surgery and the final full-arch set follows in about 72 hours, so the surgical trip is a short stay arranged on the traveling for implants page rather than three runs out CA-12. We confirm the routing when you book.

Medicare

Medicare does not cover implants, and Medi-Cal and HMO plans cannot be accepted for them; we say so plainly because Rio Vista asks. Employer PPO plans are verified in writing; financing across four lenders is compared with a soft-check pre-qualification. Published California ranges (September 2026) put a single implant with its crown at about $3,500–$7,500 and a fixed arch at $20,000–$35,000 per jaw; our All-on-4 arch is a fixed $14,999 with every inclusion written out.

Oral surgery, and the drive

Extractions, grafts, sinus lifts and zygomatic implants are done by the two owner-surgeons who place the implants, with IV sedation available and a companion for the drive home. From Main Street, CA-12 west to I-80 and over the Carquinez and Bay bridges to Geary takes about an hour and twenty with clear roads; from Trilogy, an hour and fifteen to thirty. A single tooth implant has its own page, and the consultation and scan are free (a $499 value).

The Questions We HearMost Often From Rio Vista

Rio Vista is well over an hour out. How is that workable?

CA-12 west to I-80, over the Carquinez and Bay bridges to Geary — about an hour and twenty minutes with clear roads. Workable because the visits are deliberately few: consultation, 3D scan, and written plan in one appointment, and the treatment visit planned around the distance.

Where would the surgery happen?

Typically at our Fremont office, where the surgical suites and the CAD/CAM milling lab share a building — and we tell you that at the consultation rather than leaving it to emerge later. That proximity is why final teeth are measured in hours here instead of months.

My parent wears dentures and cannot eat properly.

Bring them, and come along yourself. Fixed implant teeth end the slipping and the soft-food compromises, and the bone loss that follows years of denture wear is usually workable — grafting, angled placement, or zygomatic implants. The consultation and scan are free for them regardless.

Do you take Medicare?

Not for implant procedures, and not Medi-Cal or HMO plans either — we work with PPO plans. If a Medicare Advantage plan includes a dental allowance, bring the plan details and we will help you verify what it contributes, then show the financed option beside it in writing.

I recently visited Center for Implant Dentistry after developing an infection around a crowned tooth. My regular dentist wasn't able to treat the problem and referred me to a specialist. A friend who had undergone a bone graft procedure there about a year ago recommended this facility, so I decided to schedule a free consultation. From the moment I arrived, I had a great experience. I met Neel, a very knowledgeable and friendly young gentleman who was easy to talk to. He explained the types of procedures they perform and how they specialize in dental implants and complex dental cases. After asking about my concerns, he quickly took some pictures using their advanced technology. Just a few minutes later, I met Dr. Jain. He took the time to discuss my dental problem and thoroughly explained the recommended treatment plan in a way that was simple and easy to understand. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood my options. Then came the biggest surprise! Dr. Jain asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment that same day. I was shocked because I had only come in for a consultation! Since I was already off work, I decided to take care of the problem right away. Dr. Jain extracted my infected tooth, cleaned out the infection, and placed the implant--all in the same visit! I never expected to have everything done that day, but I was grateful that they were able to address the problem so quickly. I also found the cost reasonable, considering the complexity of the procedure and how quickly they were able to take care of my situation. They accepted my dental insurance and FSA, which helped save me a significant amount of money. Neel provided a detailed treatment plan and explained the costs, including what my insurance would cover. I really appreciated the transparency and the time he took to help me understand the financial side of my treatment. Because it was getting late, they weren't able to finish my temporary crown that day, so I had to return the following day to have it completed. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received at Center for Implant Dentistry. From Neel's excellent communication and helpful guidance to Dr. Jain's thorough explanation and treatment, the entire experience was reassuring and efficient. Kudos to all their staff . Very friendly and professional . I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs specialized dental care or dental implants. They made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier than I expected!
