Isleton is one of the smallest incorporated cities in the state — a Delta town on Andrus Island where the historic Chinese and Japanese storefronts along Main Street are on the National Register. There's no implant surgeon out here, which is the honest reason patients drive. From Isleton it's CA-160 south over the Antioch Bridge to CA-4, then I-680 south — figure about an hour and twenty-five.
That's a long way, so it should buy something a closer general dentist can't offer. Here it does: Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta are ICOI Masters who do implants and nothing else, take the cases other offices refuse, and place every implant themselves. Failed implant, no bone for the upper jaw, a mouth that's been called hopeless — those are the ones that end up in our chairs, including zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone.
The Isleton Bridge and the swing bridge over Georgiana Slough have held up for a century because they were built once, correctly. Same idea here. We plan on a free 3D CBCT scan (a $499 value), mill your final teeth in our own lab — about 72 hours for a full arch — and finance it through Cherry, CareCredit, or Proceed. Isleton sends almost no implant searches yet, so this page is written for the first ones, around what a Delta town asks when it calls: how long, whether one or two trips can cover it, the long sedation drive home for someone, and whether it is worth it. There is no implant surgeon on Andrus Island; an hour and a quarter over the Antioch Bridge, two owner-surgeons and their lab are under one roof.
One or two trips
Two for most cases, counted and written down before you commit. Trip one is the free consultation and 3D CBCT scan; trip two is surgery, with fixed teeth the same day for qualifying patients and, for qualifying patients, the permanent crown in as little as 24 hours or the final full-arch set in about 72 hours, so it can be a short stay arranged on the traveling for implants page rather than three Delta crossings.
The long drive home after sedation
IV sedation is available and a sedated patient cannot drive 160 home, so the surgical visit is scheduled with a companion or planned without sedation; a single tooth is often done under local anesthesia alone. We settle this at booking.
Worth coming that far
For a cleaning, no. For a full arch, All-on-4 at a fixed $14,999 with every inclusion written out or our All-on-8 Robust design on eight implants, for a failed implant planned for rescue on the failed-implant page, or for a thinned upper jaw carried by zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone, the drive is made once by people who do only this. Published California ranges (September 2026) put a fixed arch at $20,000–$35,000 per jaw and a single implant with its crown at about $3,500–$7,500.

Isleton is a long way out. How long?
CA-160 south over the Antioch Bridge to CA-4 west, then I-680 south — about an hour and fifteen-five minutes without traffic. The longest Delta run we serve, which is exactly why the visits are planned as few and grouped deliberately.
Can everything be done in one or two trips?
Close to it for many cases. The consultation, 3D scan, and written plan are one appointment. Qualifying single- and multiple-implant cases can have surgery and receive permanent custom-milled teeth on the treatment visit; full arches typically return once more, about 72 hours after surgery.
If I am sedated, that is a long drive home for someone.
It is, and it is still required — oral and IV sedation both need a driver, without exception. Local anesthesia alone does not. Tell us the distance when you book and we will schedule so the return journey is not made in the dark or in the worst traffic.
Is it worth coming that far?
The honest test is the first visit, which costs nothing. You get a scan of your own bone, a straight read of it, and a written plan you can take to any other practice for comparison. If the answer is that we cannot help you, you will be told plainly.

I recently visited Center for Implant Dentistry after developing an infection around a crowned tooth. My regular dentist wasn't able to treat the problem and referred me to a specialist. A friend who had undergone a bone graft procedure there about a year ago recommended this facility, so I decided to schedule a free consultation. From the moment I arrived, I had a great experience. I met Neel, a very knowledgeable and friendly young gentleman who was easy to talk to. He explained the types of procedures they perform and how they specialize in dental implants and complex dental cases. After asking about my concerns, he quickly took some pictures using their advanced technology. Just a few minutes later, I met Dr. Jain. He took the time to discuss my dental problem and thoroughly explained the recommended treatment plan in a way that was simple and easy to understand. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood my options. Then came the biggest surprise! Dr. Jain asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment that same day. I was shocked because I had only come in for a consultation! Since I was already off work, I decided to take care of the problem right away. Dr. Jain extracted my infected tooth, cleaned out the infection, and placed the implant--all in the same visit! I never expected to have everything done that day, but I was grateful that they were able to address the problem so quickly. I also found the cost reasonable, considering the complexity of the procedure and how quickly they were able to take care of my situation. They accepted my dental insurance and FSA, which helped save me a significant amount of money. Neel provided a detailed treatment plan and explained the costs, including what my insurance would cover. I really appreciated the transparency and the time he took to help me understand the financial side of my treatment. Because it was getting late, they weren't able to finish my temporary crown that day, so I had to return the following day to have it completed. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received at Center for Implant Dentistry.
