Is the Dumbarton the fastest way over?
Usually, yes — CA-84 across the bridge to I-880 north, about 30 minutes off-peak and noticeably better than going around. Palo Alto patients often do the consultation and scan on one visit and return already knowing exactly what treatment involves and what it costs.
Why an implants-only practice rather than a good general dentist?
Repetition and equipment. General practices fit implants between cleanings and fillings; this is all we do, every day, with the 3D imaging, the surgical suites, and the zirconia milling lab in one building owned by the doctors who use them. Nothing about your case is shipped out.
How is the treatment actually planned?
From your own CBCT scan rather than a flat X-ray — bone height, width, and density, plus where the sinus and nerve sit. Placement is planned digitally against that anatomy and guided during surgery, and the final teeth are milled to the same plan. The reasoning is explained to you, not just the conclusion.
What does insurance contribute?
We work with all PPO plans, are in-network with many, and file the claim for you after verifying benefits in writing. Most plans cap annual benefits near $1,000 to $2,000 and classify implants as major work, so the estimate shows the contribution and the remainder together.
