Plan Your Implant Care
The Hub Of The 680 Corridor
Walnut Creek Has Everything. Except A Lab That Mills Teeth In A Day.
Walnut Creek is the retail and medical hub of central county — Broadway Plaza, the Lesher Center, and a downtown thick with specialists. Plenty of dentists too. But a full-arch case, or a failed implant, calls for a center that does implants exclusively, and that's a clean 40-to-55-minute run straight down I-680 south from the Ygnacio or Rossmoor side of town.

Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta own the practice and treat every case personally — the same surgeons for the plan, the placement, and the final teeth. Everything is in-house in Fremont: free 3D CBCT scan, guided surgery with X-Guide and Navident, IV sedation, and a CAD/CAM zirconia lab. That's why we quote permanent teeth in about 24 hours for many single and multiple implants and 72 hours for a full arch.
Dr. Jain developed the All-on-8 Robust protocol — eight implants instead of the usual four — and the practice takes the cases others turn down: bone grafting, zygomatic implants for an upper jaw with no bone, and rescues of implants placed elsewhere. Your first visit, scan included, is free.
Walnut Creek is the suburb that built a downtown other suburbs visit — Broadway Plaza pulls the whole diablo valley in on weekends. Being the place people travel to is a standard we recognize: patients pass plenty of dentists on the way down 680, and the free consultation with a 3D scan is where we make the case that the extra minutes earn their keep. Book the free consultation and we’ll plan the logistics with you, mile by mile.
The Practice
This Practice, At A Glance
Drive times are approximate, in normal traffic. Same-day permanent teeth apply to qualifying single- and multiple-implant cases; full-arch patients typically receive final custom-milled teeth in about 72 hours. Candidacy is confirmed after an exam and free 3D imaging.
Why patients make the drive
Why Walnut Creek Patients Drive To Us

The Center for Implant Dentistry has placed and restored implants since 2008, and implants are all it does. The same two owner doctors — Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta, a married team of ICOI Masters — plan, place and restore every case themselves. There is no fly-in surgeon and no hand-off to a restoring dentist across town, and the lab that mills your teeth is down the hall from the surgical suite.
Implant treatment is one of the largest health decisions most people make. In California a fixed full arch commonly runs $20,000–$35,000 per jaw, and a full-mouth case is two arches. Against a decision that size, an hour or two in the car matters far less than who plans the case, how often they do this work, and who stands behind it afterward.
Every implant treatment
One Team, One Roof, Every Kind Of Case
From the first scan to the final teeth, Walnut Creek patients are treated start to finish in one practice: consultation, 3D imaging, surgery, sedation, and the lab that makes the teeth.
Single tooth dental implants
One missing tooth, one implant and a custom crown. Qualifying cases leave with the permanent tooth in about 24 hours.
Multiple teeth & implant bridges
Several missing teeth replaced on fewer implants, with the bridge milled in our own lab.
All-on-4 & full mouth dental implants
A complete fixed arch on four implants, upper jaw, lower jaw or both. Fixed teeth on surgery day; final teeth typically in about 72 hours.
All-on-8 Robust
Dr. Sam Jain's eight-implant full-arch protocol, for more support under every arch.
Zygomatic implants
Implants anchored in the cheekbone when the upper jaw has too little bone for standard implants.
Bone grafting & sinus lifts
Rebuilding the bone an implant needs, including sinus lifts in the upper back jaw.
IV sedation
IV sedation given by our own doctors, in our own surgical suites.
Failed-implant rescue
Loose, painful or failing implants placed elsewhere — diagnosed and put right.
Complex cases
Told You're Not A Candidate?
Very often, that is where our work starts. Long-term denture wear and missing teeth shrink the jawbone, but bone grafting, angled full-arch placement and zygomatic implants let many people move forward after being turned away elsewhere.
Not enough bone
Angled implants, grafting, or zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone — the 3D scan shows which your anatomy allows.
An implant that failed elsewhere
We routinely rescue implants placed at other offices that have loosened or failed.
Years in dentures
Fixed teeth are often still possible after long denture wear, even when the bone has shrunk.
A second opinion
Bring another office's plan. We'll read it against your own 3D scan and tell you plainly what we would do.

Beyond The Treatment Plan: Denise's Story
Denise describes full-mouth implant treatment after being told she did not have enough bone. This is her individual experience with our practice; your options, timing and results depend on your own examination.

Denise · Full-Mouth Dental Implant Patient
Told there was no bone left
Her own dentist said her jaw could not hold implants. Dr. Jain and Dr. Gupta found otherwise, and her permanent, custom-milled teeth were in 72 hours after surgery.
How much do implants cost?
What Implant Treatment Costs In California Before anyone quotes you a number
These are not our fees or a statewide average. They are broad planning ranges: the single-implant and full-arch rows reflect our own observation of California pricing, and the other rows are anchored to one public California dental-practice price page, with conservative tool groupings where its rows do not match a case one-to-one. Ours are given to you in writing after the free 3D scan.
Illustrative California planning ranges
- A single implant, abutment and crown
- $3,500–$7,500
- A fixed bridge on two to four implants
- $8,000–$11,000
- A fixed full-arch restoration · per arch
- $20,000–$35,000
- Tooth extraction · per tooth
- $150–$450
- Bone grafting · per site
- $200–$3,500
- Sinus lift · per side
- $1,500–$5,000
- IV sedation · per visit
- $200–$800
Beyond the one fixed, all-included All-on-4 fee per arch, we publish no flat treatment fees. An honest number depends on your bone, on how many teeth are being replaced, and on the preparatory work your case needs — so it is written down for you after the scan, and nothing is scheduled before you have it.
The page linked below, checked August 2026, is the source for every row except the single-implant and full-arch rows. It is one public price-page example, not a representative survey, and its rows do not map one-to-one to every line above.

Compare The Whole Plan. Then Plan The Drive.
Considering dental implants from Walnut Creek? Compare the treatment, the team and the return visits together. A full-arch decision includes the care after surgery as well as the day you receive your teeth.
One arch or both jaws?
Ask whether a quote covers one arch or both jaws, and whether it includes extractions, grafting, sedation, temporary teeth, final teeth and follow-up. Bring an existing written plan if you would like a second opinion.
How to compare an implant quotePlan the return visits too
Before committing to a longer drive, ask which appointments require an in-person visit, where each will happen, who to call if a problem develops, and whether you need an escort or an overnight stay. Confirm your schedule with the team before booking travel.
Travel and follow-up planningUnderstand the total commitment
A monthly payment is only part of the comparison. Review the total treatment fee, what may cost extra, the financing term, interest and any down payment. The market ranges above are a reference; All-on-4 here is one fixed, all-included fee per arch, and otherwise your written treatment plan sets your individual fee.

The Questions We HearMost Often From Walnut Creek
How long from Walnut Creek?
I-680 south straight down to Mission Boulevard — 40 to 55 minutes in normal traffic, and noticeably quicker outside the commute. It is one of the more predictable runs on this list; say you are coming down 680 when you book and we will place you against the flow.
What makes an implants-only practice different from a good general dentist?
Repetition and equipment. General practices fit implants between cleanings and fillings; this is all we do, every day, with the 3D imaging, the surgical suites, and the zirconia milling lab in one building owned by the doctors who use them. Your case is never shipped anywhere, and nobody flies in to place it.
Will my insurance cover a full arch?
In part. We work with all PPO plans, are in-network with many, and file the claim for you — but most plans cap yearly benefits at a set maximum and treat implants as major work, which on a full arch is a genuine contribution rather than a solution. Financing usually covers the balance.
How many appointments does a full arch really take?
One for the consultation, scan, and written plan; one surgical day, with each jaw given its own day when both are treated; and a return for final custom-milled teeth typically about 72 hours after surgery. Every trip appears in the written plan before you commit to anything.
Do you offer All-on-4, same-day and full mouth dental implants for Walnut Creek patients?
Yes — every implant treatment we do is available to Walnut Creek patients, at either office. That covers single tooth dental implants, multiple implants and implant bridges, All-on-4 and full mouth dental implants for the upper jaw, lower jaw or both, the All-on-8 Robust protocol, same-day dental implants with fixed teeth before you leave, zygomatic implants when bone is scarce, and snap-in implant dentures when removable is the right call. The free 3D scan decides which of these fits you, and the written plan maps the visits from Walnut Creek before you commit.
How much do dental implants cost for Walnut Creek patients, and do you quote in writing?
The fee is the same whether you come from Walnut Creek or from around the corner: it follows your treatment, not your address. Single implants are quoted per tooth. All-on-4 is one fixed, all-included fee of $14,999 per jaw; other full arches are quoted per jaw, with extractions, grafting and sedation itemized when your case needs them. Every Walnut Creek patient leaves the free consultation with that quote in writing, and if you are comparing dental implant cost across offices, bring their quotes and we will read them beside ours line by line. What dental implants cost in the Bay Area, affordable dental implants and financing and payment plans cover the numbers in detail.

We’re so happy we found Center of Implant Dentistry, we travelled all the way from Las Vegas to the Bay Area specifically for my Dad’s upper implant procedure (after he received some inferior quotes in Nevada that made him uncomfortable) so I did some research and found Dr Jain & Dr Gupta And from the very first visit we were so happy with the experience they were very accommodating and friendly and supportive throughout the whole process. From the very first consultation we knew we found the right place for my dad’s implants, 🤗Center of Implant Dentistry really specialize in all they do and is a full one stop shop, my dad’s experience was super pleasant and the staff was so great, it was easy to book an appt and schedule his procedure, it was so simple, easy and pain free for my Dad, he had a very quick and easy healing process compared to other friends he knows that got the same. We’re overall so happy with Dr Jain and Dr Gupta for their care and appreciate them for accommodating my Dad until he feels his very best and the most confident with his new smile. Highly recommend, we’ll surely be letting his friends know as well 5 stars

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Center for Implant Dentistry! From the moment I walked through the door until the moment I walked out with my beautiful new smile, I felt welcomed, cared for, and confident that I was in the right hands. I had All-on-6 full upper and lower implants. Dr. Jain and Dr. Gupta are incredibly talented at what they do. They didn’t just give me new teeth — they gave me a new lease on life. Seeing my new smile for the first time was emotional, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the end result. The amount of skill, care, and attention to detail that went into my treatment was incredible. The entire staff was amazing from beginning to end. Everyone was welcoming, patient, kind, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Having major dental work done can be scary, but they took such great care of me every step of the way. I walked in hoping to get my smile back, and I walked out with more confidence than I could have imagined. I can smile again without trying to hide my teeth, and that means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you, Dr. Jain, Dr. Gupta, and the entire Center for Implant Dentistry team for giving me my smile and my confidence back. You truly changed my life, and I will forever be grateful. If you are considering dental implants and are nervous or unsure about taking that first step, I wholeheartedly recommend Center for Implant Dentistry. My only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly life-changing experience.
