Dr. Gupta is an ICOI Master with an MDS in endodontics, which matters when a tooth others called hopeless might actually be saved before you commit to an implant.
We also take the cases many offices turn away — zygomatic implants when you have been told there is 'no bone,' bone grafting, and rescuing failed implants placed somewhere else. And with our in-house zirconia lab, full-arch patients typically get final milled teeth in about 72 hours, not months of temporaries.

Consults, surgery and follow-ups all run at our Geary office in the city; only the milling happens in Fremont, beside the lab. Who plans and places the implants
One of the two owner-surgeons, from the first examination through the surgery and the follow-ups. The plan is drawn on your scan by the person who will carry it out, not by a consultant, and the teeth are made in the practice's own lab in the Fremont building; for qualifying patients the final full-arch set follows surgery in about 72 hours.
Outside working hours
Weekday appointments run until 7:30 PM and Saturdays until 6:00 PM. Consultations, surgery and follow-ups run at the Geary office; the Fremont trip is for a case that wants same-day teeth straight from the mill, and we confirm which crossing suits the day when you book.

Can appointments be scheduled outside working hours?
Often. We are open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–7:30 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with Sunday visits by appointment, so late-afternoon and early-evening appointments are ordinary rather than a special arrangement. One visit covers the consultation, the scan, and the written plan, which keeps the number of trips down considerably.
My mother has worn dentures for years and hates them.
Bring her, and come with her. Fixed implant teeth end the slipping and the soft-food compromises, and the bone loss that comes with years of denture wear is usually workable — grafting, angled placement, or zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone. The consultation and scan are free for her either way.
Who actually plans and places the implants?
Dr. Sam Jain or Dr. Arpana Gupta, the two owner-doctors, from the first scan through the final tooth and the follow-ups after it. Nobody flies in, places implants, and leaves. The person who reads your scan with you is the person performing the surgery.

I recently visited Center for Implant Dentistry after developing an infection around a crowned tooth. My regular dentist wasn't able to treat the problem and referred me to a specialist. A friend who had undergone a bone graft procedure there about a year ago recommended this facility, so I decided to schedule a free consultation. From the moment I arrived, I had a great experience. I met Neel, a very knowledgeable and friendly young gentleman who was easy to talk to. He explained the types of procedures they perform and how they specialize in dental implants and complex dental cases. After asking about my concerns, he quickly took some pictures using their advanced technology. Just a few minutes later, I met Dr. Jain. He took the time to discuss my dental problem and thoroughly explained the recommended treatment plan in a way that was simple and easy to understand. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood my options. Then came the biggest surprise! Dr. Jain asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment that same day. I was shocked because I had only come in for a consultation! Since I was already off work, I decided to take care of the problem right away. Dr. Jain extracted my infected tooth, cleaned out the infection, and placed the implant--all in the same visit! I never expected to have everything done that day, but I was grateful that they were able to address the problem so quickly. I also found the cost reasonable, considering the complexity of the procedure and how quickly they were able to take care of my situation. They accepted my dental insurance and FSA, which helped save me a significant amount of money. Neel provided a detailed treatment plan and explained the costs, including what my insurance would cover. Because it was getting late, they weren't able to finish my temporary crown that day, so I had to return the following day to have it completed. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received at Center for Implant Dentistry.
