Is a full arch the only option
Not always. Teeth that can be kept are kept; several missing teeth in a row can be carried by an implant bridge, $8,000–$11,000 in published California ranges (September 2026), rather than clearing the arch; a denture can be held still by two or more implants on the implant-supported dentures page. When the arch really is the answer, All-on-4 is a fixed $14,999 with every inclusion written out and our All-on-8 Robust design goes to eight implants. Sedation
IV sedation is available for the surgical visit, scheduled so that a companion drives Sir Francis Drake home; local anesthesia alone is the other route for a single tooth. Not necessarily, and a second read is worth having before anyone begins. Bring the plan and any imaging; we will tell you honestly what we would and would not do, including when the recommendation is sound. The exam and 3D scan cost nothing whether or not you proceed with us.
What sedation is available?
Oral and IV, delivered and monitored by our own ACLS-certified doctors and matched to your health and medications rather than a standard dose. Most patients remember little to none of the appointment. Either option requires someone to drive you home; local anesthesia by itself does not.

I recently visited Center for Implant Dentistry after developing an infection around a crowned tooth. My regular dentist wasn't able to treat the problem and referred me to a specialist. A friend who had undergone a bone graft procedure there about a year ago recommended this facility, so I decided to schedule a free consultation. From the moment I arrived, I had a great experience. I met Neel, a very knowledgeable and friendly young gentleman who was easy to talk to. He explained the types of procedures they perform and how they specialize in dental implants and complex dental cases. After asking about my concerns, he quickly took some pictures using their advanced technology. Just a few minutes later, I met Dr. Jain. He took the time to discuss my dental problem and thoroughly explained the recommended treatment plan in a way that was simple and easy to understand. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood my options. Then came the biggest surprise! Dr. Jain asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment that same day. I was shocked because I had only come in for a consultation! Since I was already off work, I decided to take care of the problem right away. Dr. Jain extracted my infected tooth, cleaned out the infection, and placed the implant--all in the same visit! I never expected to have everything done that day, but I was grateful that they were able to address the problem so quickly. I also found the cost reasonable, considering the complexity of the procedure and how quickly they were able to take care of my situation. They accepted my dental insurance and FSA, which helped save me a significant amount of money. Neel provided a detailed treatment plan and explained the costs, including what my insurance would cover. I really appreciated the transparency and the time he took to help me understand the financial side of my treatment. Because it was getting late, they weren't able to finish my temporary crown that day, so I had to return the following day to have it completed. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received at Center for Implant Dentistry.
