An implant that failed somewhere else

They arrived carrying another provider’s work. What mattered was the in-house lab and both surgeons being hands-on — and the confidence it returned to their practice as a marriage and family therapist.

ANTIQUE CAPITAL TO GUIDED SURGERY

San Anselmo values the well-made. So do custom-milled teeth.

San Anselmo built its reputation on the well-made and the lasting — the antique shops around Sir Francis Drake and Red Hill, the stone seminary campus on the hill above town. That instinct for quality over the disposable is exactly the right one to bring to a set of implant teeth you intend to keep for decades.

The work gets explained in the room where it happens.

About 35 minutes south, across the Golden Gate at our Geary office, Dr. Sam Jain and Dr. Arpana Gupta plan and mill each case in-house on X-Guide and Navident navigation. Your arch is cut to your bite in our own CAD/CAM lab — not ordered from an outside lab that never met you.

The payoff is time as much as fit: many qualifying single-implant patients leave with a final tooth in about 24 hours, and full-arch cases finish in about 72 hours. Grab lunch downtown after a morning stroll through Yolanda, then make the drive with the whole plan already scanned and priced.

San Anselmo is an antiques town — a place that respects things built before its residents were born and intends to keep them working. That's the correct ambition for teeth. Implants planned on a 3D scan, placed in adequate bone, and maintained on schedule are a decades-long proposition, and the written care-for-life commitment behind ours is signed by the surgeons who'll be doing the maintaining. Book the free consultation and we’ll plan the logistics with you, mile by mile.

From San Anselmo

A Town That Values The Well-Made, And Teeth Milled To Your Bite

San Anselmo searches for full-arch and full mouth implants in San Francisco and asks about age limits, what insurance realistically does, and how quickly the permanent teeth come. An antiques town respects things built to last; this page is about teeth planned on a 3D scan and milled in the practice's own lab, thirty-five minutes south.

How quickly permanent teeth come

For qualifying patients the permanent crown follows surgery in as little as 24 hours for single and multiple implants, and the final custom-milled full arch in about 72 hours, from the lab in the Fremont building; the first fixed set is placed on the day of surgery. Stability at placement decides who qualifies, and the free CBCT scan at the Geary office answers that in one visit.

An upper age limit

There is none. Health and bone are assessed, not years; the implants for seniors page explains which medications and conditions matter. Bone thinned by years in a denture is handled by grafting, an angled placement or zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone, and the scan picks the route.

What insurance realistically does

Employer PPO plans contribute to parts of implant treatment, usually the extraction and the crown, up to an annual maximum that a full arch exceeds; we verify the plan in writing before anything is scheduled. HMO and Medi-Cal cannot be accepted. Financing across four lenders is compared with a soft-check pre-qualification. Published California ranges (September 2026) put a single implant with its crown at about $3,500–$7,500 and a fixed arch at $20,000–$35,000 per jaw; our All-on-4 arch is a fixed $14,999 with every inclusion written out.

Down Sir Francis Drake

From downtown and The Hub, Sir Francis Drake to US-101 south over the Golden Gate to Geary takes about thirty-five minutes off-peak; from Red Hill, through the Presidio, thirty-five to forty-five. All-on-4, our All-on-8 Robust design and a single tooth implant are each explained on their own page, and the consultation and scan are free (a $499 value).

The Questions We HearMost Often From San Anselmo

How long from San Anselmo?

Sir Francis Drake Boulevard to US-101 south over the Golden Gate Bridge to Geary — about 35 minutes off-peak. Consultations, 3D scans, and follow-ups happen in San Francisco; both offices are complete implant centers, so surgery and same-day teeth are available at either.

Is there an upper age limit for implants?

Not one we have met. Health and bone decide rather than birthdays — the practical test is whether you are well enough for a routine extraction and whether there is bone to anchor to. Well-managed conditions are usually a reason to plan carefully, not a reason to give up on the idea.

What will insurance realistically do?

Contribute rather than cover. We work with all PPO plans, verify benefits in writing, and file the claim; most cap yearly benefits at a set maximum and treat implants as major work. Your written estimate shows the plan's contribution and the financed remainder together, before you decide.

How quickly would I have permanent teeth?

Qualifying single- and multiple-implant cases receive final custom-milled teeth in as little as 24 hours; full-arch cases typically about 72 hours after surgery. That speed comes from the lab being in the same building as the surgical chair rather than a queue at an outside laboratory.

I recently visited Center for Implant Dentistry after developing an infection around a crowned tooth. My regular dentist wasn't able to treat the problem and referred me to a specialist. A friend who had undergone a bone graft procedure there about a year ago recommended this facility, so I decided to schedule a free consultation. From the moment I arrived, I had a great experience. I met Neel, a very knowledgeable and friendly young gentleman who was easy to talk to. He explained the types of procedures they perform and how they specialize in dental implants and complex dental cases. After asking about my concerns, he quickly took some pictures using their advanced technology. Just a few minutes later, I met Dr. Jain. He took the time to discuss my dental problem and thoroughly explained the recommended treatment plan in a way that was simple and easy to understand. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood my options. Then came the biggest surprise! Dr. Jain asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment that same day. I was shocked because I had only come in for a consultation! Since I was already off work, I decided to take care of the problem right away. Dr. Jain extracted my infected tooth, cleaned out the infection, and placed the implant--all in the same visit! I never expected to have everything done that day, but I was grateful that they were able to address the problem so quickly. I also found the cost reasonable, considering the complexity of the procedure and how quickly they were able to take care of my situation. They accepted my dental insurance and FSA, which helped save me a significant amount of money. Neel provided a detailed treatment plan and explained the costs, including what my insurance would cover. I really appreciated the transparency and the time he took to help me understand the financial side of my treatment. Because it was getting late, they weren't able to finish my temporary crown that day, so I had to return the following day to have it completed. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received at Center for Implant Dentistry. From Neel's excellent communication and helpful guidance to Dr. Jain's thorough explanation and treatment, the entire experience was reassuring and efficient. Kudos to all their staff . Very friendly and professional . I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs specialized dental care or dental implants. They made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier than I expected!
