All-on-4 Dental Implant Cost in the Bay Area (2026) — In Writing

Full-arch quotes swing from $15,000 to $40,000 for reasons that have little to do with your mouth. Here's what actually sets the number — and how to weigh any quote line by line.

What a full arch really costs

Fixed full-arch teeth — the All-on-4 family — commonly run $20,000 to $35,000 per jaw at national chains and many private offices, with premium zirconia work quoted higher still, sometimes approaching $40,000 per arch in the Bay Area. These are observed market ranges, not quotes — your anatomy sets your final figure, depending on extractions, grafting or sinus work, sedation, and the final material, which is why our own number comes itemized in writing after a free CBCT scan.

A word on the name. 'All-on-4' means a full arch of fixed teeth anchored on implants; it does not have to mean literally four implants. We place as many as your bone genuinely needs — often six to eight per arch, which we call our All-on-8 Robust protocol — at no per-implant upcharge. More support for your bite is engineering, not an add-on, and pricing it as a package rather than per implant is a deliberate choice.

Why full-arch quotes swing from $15,000 to $40,000

Three things, mostly. First, scope: some quotes include extractions, sedation, temporaries, and the final zirconia arch, while others price those separately and quote low. Second, materials: an acrylic or PMMA final set costs less to make than milled monolithic zirconia, and the difference isn't always spelled out. Third, structure: every outsourced layer — a commercial lab, a visiting surgeon's travel, franchise economics — rides along in the price without improving your teeth.

That third factor is the biggest lever, and it's why our number can sit below the regional norm. Family-owned means no franchise fees or shareholder margin in your bill. In-house means surgery, sedation, and the CAD/CAM lab that designs and mills your arch all under one roof — no outside-lab markup, no fly-in surgeon. Our companion article on the factors behind All-on-4 cost goes deeper on each line item.

What the price includes here — start to finish

A full-arch price should carry the whole journey, and ours does: the 3D planning scan, any extractions, guided surgery, sedation, the fixed teeth you walk out chewing on the same day, and the final custom-milled zirconia arch that follows in about 72 hours rather than the six-to-eight months of removable plastic many offices leave you in. Because the lab is ours, that final set is made and fitted here, not shipped out and marked up.

The honest variables that can move a full-arch number are the preparatory work some anatomies need — grafting or a sinus lift before implants can hold, or zygomatic implants for severe upper-jaw bone loss. None of those are hidden fees when they're disclosed on your itemized plan up front, which is exactly what the free CBCT scan makes possible.

Financing a full arch — the monthly math

Most patients don't pay for a full arch out of pocket, and they don't need to. Full-arch treatment commonly finances into a monthly payment that depends on term and credit — often less than people expect for fixed teeth that replace a lifetime of denture adhesive and soft-food compromises. We compare offers across four lenders (Proceed Finance, Cherry, LendingClub/Happen, and CareCredit) to find the lowest payment for your situation, and prequalifying takes minutes without touching your credit score.

Insurance plays a smaller role at this level: most PPO plans cap annual benefits around $1,000–$2,000, a real but partial dent in a full arch, and we verify and file it for you. We can't accept Medicaid, Medi-Cal, Medicare, or HMO (DMO) plans for implants. The full picture — lenders, terms, and HSA/FSA use — is on our financing page.

How to compare any All-on-4 quote you're given

Ask every office the same five questions. What exactly does the number include — implants, extractions, sedation, temporaries, and the final arch? What is the final arch made of — zirconia or acrylic? How many implants, and is more support priced as an upcharge? Where are the teeth made, and how long from surgery to the final set? And who places the implants and answers for them in five years? Any good office can answer all five in writing.

If a quote can't survive those questions, its headline price doesn't mean much. Bring any written quote to the free consultation — including a much lower dental-tourism quote — and we'll go through it with you line by line, honestly, including whether the other plan is sound. A free CBCT scan and an itemized written quote of your own are what make that comparison possible instead of mysterious. The first visit is free.

Still Wondering? Here's What People Ask Next.

How much do All-on-4 dental implants cost per arch in 2026?

Full-arch fixed teeth commonly run $20,000–$35,000 per jaw at most offices, sometimes approaching $40,000 in the Bay Area. Your own figure depends on your case, which is why ours comes itemized in writing after a free CBCT scan. Materials (zirconia vs. acrylic), included extractions and sedation, and any grafting are what move the number.

Why is All-on-4 so much cheaper at some offices than others?

Scope, materials, and structure. Some quotes bundle extractions, sedation, temporaries, and a final zirconia arch; others price those separately and quote low. Acrylic final teeth cost less than milled zirconia. And every outsourced layer — labs, visiting surgeons, franchise fees — adds margin. Insist on the itemized version of any quote.

Does All-on-4 mean only four implants?

No — 'All-on-4' describes a full arch of fixed teeth on implants, not a fixed count. We place as many as your bone genuinely needs, often six to eight per arch (our All-on-8 Robust protocol), at no per-implant upcharge. More support is engineering for a stronger result, not an add-on fee.
