Technology With A Job To Do

A lot of offices buy technology to put on a brochure. We buy it to change what happens in the chair. Every machine here has to make your surgery safer, faster, more precise, or more comfortable — measured, not marketed. If it doesn't earn its place, we don't own it.

A clinician taking a digital intraoral scan of a patient's mouth
Every system in the building exists to answer a question about your jaw.

That standard comes from the top. Our founder, Dr. Sam Jain, holds a master’s in mechanical engineering as well as a dental degree — an implant dentist who can read an engineering spec sheet and a CT scan with equal fluency. From 3D navigation to goop-free digital scanning, every system here was chosen by someone who understands exactly how it works and why it fails.

Below: the honest datasheet. What each technology is, what it does, and — most importantly — what it means for the person in the chair. For the bigger picture of how it all fits together, see why patients choose us.

The Equipment, Spec By Spec

Seven systems, one purpose: implants placed exactly where they should be, and permanent teeth delivered in days — not months.

The X-Guide dynamic navigation unit, with its tracking arm and planning display

01 / Aerospace-level accuracy

X-Guide™ Dynamic 3D Navigation

What it is
A real-time surgical navigation system — think GPS for your jaw — showing the doctor turn-by-turn guidance inside your anatomy during surgery.
What it does
Tracks the implant's position against your CT scan live, keeping placement clear of nerves and sinuses.
For you
Smaller openings, less pain, minimal swelling, and noticeably faster healing. We refuse to guess with your health.
The Navident EVO guided-surgery system

02 / Robotic-grade precision

Navident EVO Guided Surgery

What it is
An optical tracking system that watches the drill's position instantly relative to your CT scan — 'virtual vision' for the surgeon.
What it does
Lets the doctor place each implant exactly where your bone is strongest, without large incisions — accuracy human hands alone can't match.
For you
Implants seated in the best available bone, from single teeth to full-mouth restorations — a foundation built to hold for decades.
A cone beam CT scan of the jaw used to plan implant placement

03 / Free at every consultation

Cone Beam CT (CBCT) 3D Imaging

What it is
A medical-grade 3D scan that maps your jawbone, nerves, and sinuses in fine detail — at a low radiation dose.
What it does
Turns guesswork into geometry: bone density, nerve position, and sinus anatomy measured before anyone recommends anything.
For you
It's free at your consultation — a $499 value — with zero obligation. You leave with an engineered roadmap either way.
A full-arch prosthesis being milled from a zirconia disc

04 / The heart of same-day teeth

In-House CAD/CAM Milling Center

What it is
A full manufacturing lab inside the practice — CNC milling, zirconia finishing, and an engineering team led by machine-fluent hands.
What it does
Designs and mills your permanent teeth while you rest — no third-party lab, no waiting weeks.
For you
Permanent teeth in as little as 24 hours for many qualifying single- and multiple-implant cases; final full-arch teeth in about 72 hours.
A digital planning workstation showing a patient's 3D facial scan beside the implant plan

05 / See it before you decide

Digital Smile Simulator

What it is
In-office visualization software that previews your potential new smile on screen, mapped to your own face.
What it does
Lets you explore shade, shape, and character — including the quirks you want to keep — before committing to anything.
For you
No leap of faith. You see the destination at your free consultation, then decide at your own pace.
Dr. Jain administering IV sedation to a patient

06 / Comfort, medically supervised

IV Sedation Suite

What it is
On-site IV and oral sedation, administered by doctors trained at the Medical College of Georgia and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
What it does
Takes anxious patients from white-knuckle to genuinely relaxed — with emergency airway and EKG training standing quietly behind every case.
For you
Sleep through it if you'd rather. Most patients remember arriving, and then being congratulated.
A digital impression of a lower arch on the iTero scanner's screen, with a finger tracing the scan

07 / The end of the goop tray

Digital Intraoral Impressions

What it is
A wand-sized 3D scanner that captures your teeth and gums digitally — no impression trays, no gagging, no do-overs.
What it does
Feeds exact digital models straight to our in-house lab, where your restoration's design begins the same day.
For you
A more comfortable visit — no gag-inducing trays — and a restoration built from an exact digital model instead of a physical mold that can distort in transit.

Watch The Lab Turn A Scan Into A Smile

Strip away the acronyms and the technology has exactly one job: this — a set of permanent teeth, engineered for your bite, milled in our own lab, and delivered while other offices would still be waiting on a courier.

Machines don't replace judgment. Ours are run by the same two owner-doctors who have led this practice since 2008 — Drs. Sam Jain and Arpana Gupta, both Masters of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists — who chose every system in this building for what it does for the person in the chair.

The best way to evaluate technology is to watch it work on your own anatomy. Your free consultation includes the 3D scan, the smile preview, and straight answers about what your case does — and doesn't — need.

What All This EquipmentMeans For Your Appointment

Is guided implant surgery really safer than freehand?

Dynamic navigation systems like X-Guide™ and Navident EVO track the surgical instrument against your CT scan in real time, so the doctor sees exactly where the implant is relative to your nerves, sinuses, and bone. Seeing that in real time allows smaller openings, which most patients experience as less swelling and a faster return to normal life. Technology never replaces the surgeon's judgment; it sharpens it.

What is a CBCT scan, and is it really free here?

A cone beam CT (CBCT) is a medical-grade 3D scan that maps your jawbone, nerves, and sinuses in fine detail on our Prexion CBCT scanner, at a low radiation dose. Most offices charge for it; we include it free at your consultation — a $499 value — because we'd rather prove our thinking with your actual anatomy than ask you to take our word for anything. You're under no obligation afterward.

How does the in-house lab make same-day teeth possible?

Because your restoration never leaves the building. Digital impressions go straight to our CAD/CAM design team; ultra-dense, FDA-cleared zirconia is milled on-site; and the doctors check shade, shape, and bite in person, on the spot. That closed loop is how many qualifying single- and multiple-implant patients receive permanent teeth in as little as 24 hours, and full-arch patients receive final custom teeth in about 72 hours. And because every restoration starts as a digital design, your file stays on our computers: if a tooth ever chips or a bridge needs remaking, we mill it again from the same design, usually the same day, instead of starting from a new impression.

I'm anxious. What are my sedation options?

You can choose local anesthesia alone, oral sedation, or IV sedation administered on-site by doctors trained in IV sedation at the Medical College of Georgia and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support — with additional training in emergency airway management and EKG interpretation. For most anxious patients, the anticipation turns out to be the hardest part.

We’re so happy we found Center of Implant Dentistry, we travelled all the way from Las Vegas to the Bay Area specifically for my Dad’s upper implant procedure (after he received some inferior quotes in Nevada that made him uncomfortable) so I did some research and found Dr Jain & Dr Gupta And from the very first visit we were so happy with the experience they were very accommodating and friendly and supportive throughout the whole process. From the very first consultation we knew we found the right place for my dad’s implants, 🤗Center of Implant Dentistry really specialize in all they do and is a full one stop shop, my dad’s experience was super pleasant and the staff was so great, it was easy to book an appt and schedule his procedure, it was so simple, easy and pain free for my Dad, he had a very quick and easy healing process compared to other friends he knows that got the same. We’re overall so happy with Dr Jain and Dr Gupta for their care and appreciate them for accommodating my Dad until he feels his very best and the most confident with his new smile. Highly recommend, we’ll surely be letting his friends know as well 5 stars

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Center for Implant Dentistry! From the moment I walked through the door until the moment I walked out with my beautiful new smile, I felt welcomed, cared for, and confident that I was in the right hands. I had All-on-6 full upper and lower implants. Dr. Jain and Dr. Gupta are incredibly talented at what they do. They didn’t just give me new teeth — they gave me a new lease on life. Seeing my new smile for the first time was emotional, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the end result. The amount of skill, care, and attention to detail that went into my treatment was incredible. The entire staff was amazing from beginning to end. Everyone was welcoming, patient, kind, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Having major dental work done can be scary, but they took such great care of me every step of the way. I walked in hoping to get my smile back, and I walked out with more confidence than I could have imagined. I can smile again without trying to hide my teeth, and that means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you, Dr. Jain, Dr. Gupta, and the entire Center for Implant Dentistry team for giving me my smile and my confidence back. You truly changed my life, and I will forever be grateful. If you are considering dental implants and are nervous or unsure about taking that first step, I wholeheartedly recommend Center for Implant Dentistry. My only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly life-changing experience.
