한 번의 거상술, 짐작은 없습니다

환자분의 CT 영상으로 밀리미터 단위까지 계획하고, 국제구강임플란트학회(ICOI) 마스터(Master)인 두 원장이 시행하며, 뼈가 허락할 때마다 임플란트 식립까지 한 번의 방문으로 합니다.

1단계. 상악동을 밀리미터 단위로 측정

무료 CBCT 촬영으로 원장이 상악동 바닥과 막, 남은 뼈를 3차원으로 봅니다.

이 측정으로 모든 것을 정합니다. 거상술이 필요 없는지, 거상술과 같은 방문의 임플란트 식립인지, 잇몸뼈가 가장 얇은 경우라 단계를 나눠 다시 만들어야 하는지입니다.

2단계. 조심스럽게 올리고, 정확하게 심습니다

신중하고 부드러운 기법으로 상악동 막을 들어 올리고, 그 아래에 뼈이식재를 넣어 바닥을 다시 만듭니다.

고정력이 허락하면 같은 방문에서 임플란트를 식립합니다. X-Guide™와 Navident EVO가 모든 움직임을 계획대로 유지합니다.

대부분은 국소 마취로 충분합니다. 잠든 듯 받고 싶으신 분께는 ACLS(전문심장소생술) 자격을 갖춘 원장이 정맥 진정(IV sedation)을 해 드립니다. 전신마취는 아닙니다.

3단계. 뼈와 붙은 뒤 치아를 만듭니다

이후 몇 달에 걸쳐 이식재와 임플란트가 단단한 살아 있는 뼈와 하나가 됩니다. 그동안 식립한 원장들이 정기 검진에서 직접 확인합니다.

골유착이 확인되면 원내 기공실에서 최종 치아를 깎습니다. 외부 기공소도, 추가로 기다리는 몇 주도 없습니다.

상악동 거상술은 어떤 수술인가요?

상악동은 위턱 어금니 바로 위에 있는, 공기로 찬 빈 공간입니다. 이 자리의 치아가 빠지면 상악동 아래의 뼈는 얇아지고 상악동 자체는 아래로 넓어져, 임플란트를 고정할 뼈가 모자라는 경우가 많습니다. 상악동 거상술(sinus lift)은 상악동 막을 조심스럽게 들어 올리고 그 아래에 뼈이식재를 넣어, 임플란트에 필요한 뼈 높이를 다시 만드는 방법입니다. 임플란트 치료에서 결과를 가장 잘 예측할 수 있고 연구도 가장 많이 된 시술 가운데 하나입니다.

임플란트를 상악동 거상술과 정말 동시에 심을 수 있나요?

많은 경우 가능합니다. 상악동 아래에 남은 뼈가 식립할 때 임플란트를 단단히 잡아 줄 만큼 충분하면, 한 번의 방문에서 상악동을 올리고 임플란트를 심습니다. 그다음 이식재와 임플란트가 함께 뼈와 붙으므로, 두 번째 수술과 몇 달의 기다림을 줄일 수 있습니다. 남은 뼈가 너무 얇아 고정이 어렵다면 단계를 나누는 것이 맞습니다. 먼저 뼈이식을 하고, 뼈와 붙은 뒤에 임플란트를 심습니다. 어느 쪽인지는 일정을 잡기 전에 CBCT 영상이 정합니다.

상악동 거상술은 아픈가요? 숨 쉬는 것이나 코, 상악동에 오래 영향을 주지는 않나요?

이를 하나 빼는 것보다 덜했다고 말씀하시는 환자분이 많습니다. 국소 마취로 하며, 정맥 진정(IV sedation)도 받으실 수 있습니다. 흔히 '수면 치료'라고 부르는 방법이지만 전신마취는 아닙니다. 수술 후 2주 정도는 상악동 막이 자리를 잡는 동안 코를 세게 풀지 않는 것 같은 간단한 주의 사항을 지키시면 됩니다. 제대로 시행하면 대다수 환자분은 호흡, 상악동 기능, 목소리가 달라지지 않습니다. 상악동 바닥에 예전보다 단단한 기초가 생길 뿐입니다.

다른 치과와 접근 방식이 어떻게 다른가요?

I had an absolutely exceptional experience at Center for Implant Dentistry in Fremont, and I genuinely believe this amazing team deserves special recognition. Before deciding where to get my dental implants, I spent a lot of time researching different providers and treatment options. Having had dental implants before, I knew how important it was to choose experienced, qualified professionals. This wasn't a decision I took lightly, and I'm so glad I chose this team. I went to Dr Arpana and Dr Sambhav in an emergency requiring extraction of multiple teeth and a dental implant. They accommodated me in their busy schedule and took good care of me. They have the entire setup (3D X-ray, implants, crown etc) and I didn’t have to run to multiple people for my treatment. I was treated very professionally and I felt cared for. Highly recommend them. I referred my family and they have had very positive experience as well. A big thumbs up on the quality of service!

Came here mainly based on excellent Google reviews. Glad I did. Doctor was able to accommodate my extraction and implant in some what emergency basis late hours. The whole process took about 3 hrs.. the procedure was done without any pain. Instructions were clear for the postoperative. Highly recommend this clinic.

We’re so happy we found Center of Implant Dentistry, we travelled all the way from Las Vegas to the Bay Area specifically for my Dad’s upper implant procedure (after he received some inferior quotes in Nevada that made him uncomfortable) so I did some research and found Dr Jain & Dr Gupta And from the very first visit we were so happy with the experience they were very accommodating and friendly and supportive throughout the whole process. From the very first consultation we knew we found the right place for my dad’s implants, 🤗Center of Implant Dentistry really specialize in all they do and is a full one stop shop, my dad’s experience was super pleasant and the staff was so great, it was easy to book an appt and schedule his procedure, it was so simple, easy and pain free for my Dad, he had a very quick and easy healing process compared to other friends he knows that got the same.
