我们是自己制造。那间研磨整排氧化锆牙弓的院内技工室——工业级 CNC 机器、CAD 设计师、陶瓷技师，全部在 Dr. Jain 的工程主导下运转——同样能从整块氧化锆坯上研磨出单颗牙冠。您的牙齿经数字化扫描，牙冠在这里设计、在这里研磨，符合条件的病例当天即可戴上。需要调整时，就在走廊尽头当场完成，而不是靠邮寄往返。

患者注意到的是速度，真正留住的却是精度。一个牙冠能否长久，藏在零点几毫米之间——牙冠与牙齿交界处的边缘密合度、与邻牙接触点的松紧、咬合落下时的受力方式。当这份贴合是由为您扫描过的同一个团队，在他们每天操作的机器上，趁您人还在这栋楼里时一点点调校出来的，误差便能在几分钟内被发现并修正。而当它是从一只由快递送来的盒子里取出来试戴时，误差往往只能被「将就着用」。
材料同样重要。我们的牙冠由整体式实心氧化锆研磨而成——正是我们用于承受数十年咀嚼的整排牙弓时所信赖的那种高强度、经 FDA 许可的材料。没有覆在金属核上、会崩落的瓷壳，也不会在五年后于牙龈边缘悄悄爬出一道灰线。而由于在我们这里，选材是一项工程决策，一颗承受重咬合的磨牙，与一颗处于高笑线上的前牙，并不会自动得到同一个答案——我们的材料页面会解释我们如何取舍。

牙冠怎么能当天就做好？你们用的是 CEREC 吗？
因为技工室就在同一栋楼里。不少患者会搜索「CEREC 牙冠」——正是这套系统让「一次就诊做好牙冠」流行起来；我们遵循的是同一个原理，只不过放大到了整间技工室的规模。传统的牙冠流程之所以要取模、戴临时牙冠、再等上两周让远在他州的技工室加工、然后第二次就诊时祈祷它能戴合适，是因为大多数诊所都把活儿寄了出去。在我们这里，您的牙齿会被数字化扫描，牙冠在屏幕上设计成形，再由我们自己的 CNC 机器从一整块氧化锆坯上研磨出来——就在走廊尽头。符合条件的病例当天即可戴上，其余大多数也能在约 24 小时内完成。如果色泽或邻接需要微调，我们当场就改，而不是寄回去等。
牙齿上的牙冠和种植牙冠有什么区别？
牙齿上的牙冠，是给一颗预备好的天然牙戴上牙套；而种植牙冠替换的是整颗牙——它通过一个叫「基台」的连接件固定在骨内的种植体上，完全不依托任何天然牙体组织。种植牙冠正是我们的日常核心：牙冠与基台都在院内设计、研磨，与种植体精密贴合，涵盖我们植入的各大主流系统——Nobel Biocare、Straumann 和 Zimmer Biomet。如果您已在别处植入了种植体，需要制作或更换牙冠，这在我们这里同样是家常便饭。
氧化锆牙冠比烤瓷（金属烤瓷）牙冠更好吗？
对大多数现代病例而言，是的——但也有几点该先说清楚。整体式氧化锆是从一整块高密度坯料上研磨而成，既没有覆盖在金属基底上、会崩落的瓷层，也不会在几年后于牙龈边缘露出一道灰线，其强度足以应对磨牙与沉重的咬合力。而当前牙的美观需要极致的通透感时，也有分层堆瓷的方案可选，届时我们会如实相告。材料的选择取决于这颗牙的「本职工作」——是负责咀嚼、研磨，还是要示人——而不是一刀切的默认答案。
我的牙断了——该做牙冠还是种植牙？
这取决于牙齿还剩下多少，您也理应得到一个不带偏向的答案。如果健康的牙体组织还留有足够多、牙根也稳固，那么一个牙冠（有时需先做些别的修复处理）就能保住这颗牙——而只要一颗牙还能保，把它保下来几乎总是对的。可如果牙齿断在了牙龈线以下、纵裂，或牙根已经保不住，那牙冠不过是给一栋危房扣了顶漂亮帽子；拔牙加种植才是诚实的解法。因为牙冠和种植我们两样都做——同在一个屋檐下——所以建议不会被「这家诊所刚好只提供什么」牵着走。免费的 3D 扫描一次就诊便能给出答案。
